Terms & ConditionsOur booking agreement with you binds you and all members of your party, including children. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and members of your party are aware of, and accepts the whole of this agreement and its obligations. It is effective from the date our agreement is formed and continues until the last member of your party has left. We reserve the right to:
We have the right to cancel your booking, or to instruct you and your party to leave immediately, without compensation or refund should you not comply with any part of this agreement, especially the regulations relating to behaviour. You may not advertise or resell your holiday. You may not bring any firearm or air weapon, archery equipment or similar item under any circumstances. No power kites small ordinary kites only. The maximum number of occupants must be declared at time of booking. Bookings for parties of all male or female people will not be accepted unless by prior consent. Where such parties may be found in residence they will be required to vacate and shall not be entitled to any refund or any compensation. Prices include VAT and are subject to change should the VAT rate alter. Pentire Haven would like to remind guests that we are in no way responsible for the loss of, or damage to, your property while you are on the park. We recommend that you insure your personal effects, clothing and cash in the normal way before coming on holiday. Pentire Haven will not be held responsible for any damage or inconvenience caused by acts of God including extreme weather conditions. FORCE MAJEURE We cannot accept responsibility or pay compensation for circumstances which amount to "force majeure", which subsequently affect the provision of our service to you. Please note: If in wet weather, customers are unhappy with the grass serviced or unserviced camping pitch allocated, then another pitch will be offered. This pitch may be a gravel serviced pitch which we highly recommend for wet weather camping. This type of pitch allows you to camp as normal but without the mud you can get with a grass pitch. By offering our customers this alternative we feel that we have done everything we can to make your stay with us a much more pleasant experience if the weather is wet for long periods or your pitch is not suitable because of prolonged rain beforehand. Our acknowledgement of your booking signifies acceptance of Pentire Haven terms & conditions. All tents, tourers, motorhomes, extra people, dogs etc must be paid for at the time of booking. Please do not erect any washing line, as these can be dangerous. Touring pitches are available from 12.00pm, on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure. In addition to your Touring Caravan and car parking space only one awning per touring pitch is permitted please keep within the boundary of your pitch. Only one vehicle per pitch, allowed extra vehicles will be charged at 3.00 per day, extra vehicles will be asked to park elsewhere on the site. All guests must have respect for other visitors on the park (especially camping) noise levels must be kept to a minimum from 11pm until 8am. Guests who do not comply to the rule will be asked to leave immediately with no refunds. Please note: Shop open from 31st March until 3rd November. Pool heated from 21st July-1st September
Booking DepositWhen you book, the deposit stated must be sent. For on-line and telephone bookings this is due immediately. Securing your BookingYou must make the final payment of your booking by the appropriate time or we will have the right to cancel your holiday. Please do not send cash in the post. Final payments are due at least 4 weeks prior to the starting date of your holiday. Please quote your booking number with any payments. Booking cancellationIf you are compelled to cancel your holiday you must notify us immediately by telephone. Then you must confirm it in writing using 1st Class mail, enclosing your invoice, telling us whether your balance of money has been paid. Our acknowledgement in writing to you will be your confirmation that your booking has been cancelled. We will then endeavour to re-let for you. If we are successful in re-letting, you will only forfeit your booking deposit for each week booked. If we cannot re-let, then you will be held responsible for a prompt payment of the full balance. The Pitch Number notified to you on confirmation of your booking is provisional and we reserve the right to alter this number, but this will occur only in exception circumstances. In the event of non-arrival, we reserve the right to re-let the pitch after 12 noon on the following day. Please phone if possible. SafetyYou must obey the speed limit on the Park. Cyclists must give way to pedestrians. It is recommended that appropriate safety helmets be worn when cycling. Do not use a scooter, cycle, skateboard or roller blades in any buildings. Diving is not permitted in the swimming pool. DogsThe charge for a dog is payable on booking. Dogs must be exercised only on dog walking paths. Dogs must not be left unattended on this site. BehaviourYour behaviour should not be excessive, noisy or disruptive, especially at night. You must show consideration to other guests and staff. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated. Children's supervision and parental responsibilityYou are responsible for the supervision of all members of your party under the age of 18. You must supervise your children at all times, this is particularly important in the swimming pools. Access and VehiclesPlease at all times:
Security of your propertyYour personal belongings are your own responsibility during your stay on the park. Any vehicle parked on our property is subject to very limited security cover. You must lock your vehicle and remove any valuables. We accept no liability whatsoever for any accident, loss or damage to your property unless such loss, damage or accident is demonstrably due to our negligence or that for whom we are legal responsible. SmokingSmoking is not allowed in the office, shop, toilet or shower blocks. Data ProtectionWe regularly take photographs and videos for promotional and training purposes. Should you not wish to appear in any such material, please notify us on your arrival. Larger tents must fit onto standard sized pitches (including guy ropes), otherwise extra charges will be applied. How To Find Us...Directions to Pentire Haven Touring Park Make your way to Bude via A30 and A3072. At Stratton (1 mile from Bude) turn right on the A39 (The Atlantic Highway) towards Bideford. After 3 miles, look for signpost to Sandymouth on your left. Should you be coming down the A39 from Bideford, you will of course find the signpost on your right after you have passed through the village of Kilkhampton. Alternatively, take A361, leaving M5 at Junction 27. The new fast road will provide a direct link to the A39. Please do not enter the holiday village off the main A39, take the sigh for Sandymouth and Stibb.
