Terms & Conditions
Our booking agreement with you binds you and all members of your party, including children. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and members of your party are aware of, and accepts the whole of this agreement and its obligations. It is effective from the date our agreement is formed and continues until the last member of your party has left.
We reserve the right to:
If the booking is made via telephone you will verbally be given the booking reference
If you book via the Internet you will be informed that your booking has been confirmed and you will receive a booking reference.
We have the right to cancel your booking, or to instruct you and your party to leave immediately, without compensation or refund should you not comply with any part of this agreement, especially the regulations relating to behaviour.
You may not advertise or resell your holiday. You may not bring any firearm or air weapon, archery equipment or similar item under any circumstances. No power kites small ordinary kites only.
The maximum number of occupants must be declared at time of booking.
Bookings for parties of all male or female people will not be accepted unless by prior consent. Where such parties may be found in residence they will be required to vacate and shall not be entitled to any refund or any compensation.
Prices include VAT and are subject to change should the VAT rate alter.
Pentire Haven would like to remind guests that we are in no way responsible for the loss of, or damage to, your property while you are on the park. We recommend that you insure your personal effects, clothing and cash in the normal way before coming on holiday.
Pentire Haven will not be held responsible for any damage or inconvenience caused by acts of God including extreme weather conditions.
FORCE MAJEURE We cannot accept responsibility or pay compensation for circumstances which amount to “force majeure”, which subsequently affect the provision of our service to you.
Please note: If in wet weather, customers are unhappy with the grass serviced or unserviced camping pitch allocated, then another pitch will be offered. This pitch may be a gravel serviced pitch which we highly recommend for wet weather camping. By offering our customers this alternative we feel that we have done everything we can to make your stay with us a much more pleasant experience if the weather is wet for long periods or your pitch is not suitable because of prolonged rain beforehand.
Our acknowledgement of your booking signifies acceptance of Pentire Haven terms & conditions.
All Holiday homes,tents, tourers, motorhomes,pup tents, extra people,extra cars, dogs etc must be paid for at the time of booking. Pup tents are small two man tents suitable for under 18’s only.
Please be careful when using any washing lines, as these can be dangerous.
Holiday homes are available from 3pm, on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure.
Touring pitches are available from 12.00pm, on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure.
The maximum we allow is six persons per pitch, with either a Caravan, Motorhome or Tent. One car parking space only and one awning per touring pitch is permitted please keep within the boundary of your pitch. If you have a large caravan and awning, extra vehicles may need to park in the car park not on the pitch.
All guests must have respect for other visitors on the park (especially camping) noise levels must be kept to a minimum from 11pm until 8am. Guests who do not comply to the rule will be asked to leave immediately with no refunds.
Please note: Shop open all year.
Pool open from 26th May. Heated from 22nd July-1st September
When you book, the deposit stated must be sent. For on-line and telephone bookings this is due immediately.
Securing your Booking
You must make the final payment of your booking by the appropriate time or we will have the right to cancel your holiday.
Please do not send cash in the post.
Final payments are due at least 4 weeks prior to the starting date of your holiday.
Please quote your booking number with any payments.
You may cancel your holiday at any time. If you wish to cancel your booking you should advise us immediately by telephone and then send a confirmatory letter via recorded delivery. Cancellation charges are payable on the following sliding scale:-
More than 45 days Deposit only
29 to 44 days 30% of total holiday cost
15 to 28 days 80% of total holiday cost
8 to 14 days 90% of total holiday cost
7 days and under 100% of total holiday cost
We therefore strongly recommend that you take out our Cancellation Plan. Should you fail to notify us of a cancellation in writing by recorded delivery, you will remain liable for the full cost of the holiday. Refunds will not be made once a booking has been taken up and no refunds can be made if guests depart prior to the end of the booked holiday.
Booking fees will not be refunded for individual party members not arriving or days not taken up due to inclement weather or events beyond our control.
Motorhome, Caravan and Tent Pitches £1.50 per night.
Holiday homes are £15.00 per week / £10 for short breaks.
The cancellation plan fee will be automatically added to your booking (tick box to opt out)
Our Cancellation Plan must be taken out at time of booking and covers your entire party up to 24 hours before your holiday commences against cancellation due to (a) Redundancy or jury service of a member of the party, (b) Accident, injury, illness or death of a member of the party or of a close relative of a member of the party, (c) Pregnancy of a member of the party or close relation. THE DECISION OF THE COMPANY ON ALL CLAIMS WILL BE FINAL.
We guarantee to refund the FULL AMOUNT of deposit and balance paid to Pentire Haven LLP under this scheme. Please give as much notice as possible and provide the appropriate authoritative document in confirmation of your reason for cancellation, i.e. Doctor’s Note, Redundancy Notice or Death Certificate qualifying for statutory payment. Claims outside the specified reasons for cancellation cannot be entertained. The cancellation plan is non-refundable.

You must obey the speed limit on the Park. 10mph
Cyclists must give way to pedestrians.
It is recommended that appropriate safety helmets be worn when cycling. Do not use a scooter, cycle, skateboard or roller blades in any buildings.
Diving is not permitted in the swimming pool.
The charge for a dog is payable on booking. Dogs must be exercised only on dog walking paths. Dogs must not be left unattended on this site. Unruly, noisy, messy dogs will not be tolerated and shall be treated as a breach of our terms and conditions. Dogs must be kept on leads.
Your behaviour should not be excessive, noisy or disruptive, especially at night. You must show consideration to other guests and staff. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated.
Children’s supervision and parental responsibility
You are responsible for the supervision of all members of your party under the age of 18. You must supervise your children at all times, this is particularly important in the swimming pools.
Access and Vehicles
Please at all times:
- Observe the site speed limited
- Give way to pedestrians
- Keep to the left
- Drive, manoeuvre and park carefully
- Speed bumps/ Road Speed Sleepers. No liability is accepted for any damage caused by these.
Security of your property
Your personal belongings are your own responsibility during your stay on the park.
Any vehicle parked on our property is subject to very limited security cover. You must lock your vehicle and remove any valuables.
We accept no liability whatsoever for any accident, loss or damage to your property unless such loss, damage or accident is demonstrably due to our negligence or that for whom we are legal responsible.
Smoking is not allowed in any public buildings or holiday homes. As we continue to improve accommodation and facilities and comply with Health & Safety legislation or other legal requirements, you may find that:
- Some facilities have been altered
- Listed facilities are temporarily closed for maintenance
- There is development or refurbishment work in certain areas although in such circumstances we try to minimise any inconvenience.
We regularly take photographs and videos for promotional and training purposes. Should you not wish to appear in any such material, please notify us on your arrival.

In order for us to rectify any of your concern, please advise us of any problems or concerns immediately. We will endeavour to respond to these promptly in order for you to continue to enjoy your holiday.
Larger tents must fit onto standard sized pitches (including guy ropes), otherwise extra charges will be applied.
